January 23, 2020, is the official closure of Wuhan city, the once busy streets, now only a few people scattered. Under the stay-at-home order, citizens are trying to stock up on things for their daily needs. All this was due to an outbreak of covid-19 in Wuhan earlier this year. As people are immersed in the joy of welcoming in the New Year, a disaster so arrived, and with its super rapid spread across many provinces and cities, and even many countries. At this time, China took immediate steps to contain the outbreak, such as prohibiting large gatherings, suspending industry and school, closing the epicenter of the outbreak--Wuhan, and sending medical care personnel and supplies from across the country to the frontline. I once saw a comment on the Internet that made me feel deeply. It said, "in the early days of the epidemic, there were a large number of suspected cases and confirmed patients appearing every day. Thanks to the timely assistance from the country and the support from all over the country, we can feel the hope." At midnight on April 8, 2020, as the bell rang and the first car left the expressway, Wuhan officially unsealed. After 77 days of waiting, Wuhan finally hit the reset button. This heroic city Wuhan is back, is rising from the ashes. Today, the outbreak is clearly under control. In the process of fighting the epidemic, everyone is trying to make a contribution to bringing it under control as soon as possible. Among them are the medical experts who are actively developing vaccines, the medical workers who go to the frontline to treat patients, the supermarket saleswomen and delivery drivers who are still adhering their posts, the volunteers who are eager to sign up and the people who are responding to the call for home quarantine. Finally, I would like to express my respect to those people who fought against the epidemic. We may not know their names or faces, but as this song goes, we always remember their figures!
